There are some fruits and vegetables that you will be avoiding on this diet. These include bananas, corn, dried fruit, cantaloupe, honeydew, grapes and oranges.

One good thing about this plan is the absence of menial and annoying tasks such as counting calories or carbohydrate consumption. On the other hand, you will have to be extremely strict and diligent about the foods you are eating.

By following the eating plan laid out for you, it will become apparent that you will have less hunger sensations. This diet is extremely effective for those with diabetes or high cholesterol and the majority of users fit into that category although it can also be effective for weight loss.

Before beginning this plan, you need to realize that it is very restrictive and you will need to discipline yourself to follow the diet. You will be eating only certain foods and many of your favorites will be eliminated which will be difficult for many people.

Another potential problem is there is no physical activity involved with this plan which is normally a bad sign. Rosedale claims that exercise is not needed to enjoy excellent results with his program.

In conclusion, The Rosedale Diet can be beneficial to those with diabetes and high cholesterol while also helping those looking to lose weight. However, it is very stringent which will make it difficult to remain faithful to the eating plan. In addition, there is no exercise component which can only improve overall health and should never be dismissed.
