The Cholesterol Myth Exposed - What The Drug Companies Don't Want You To Know

The world of modern medicine is filled with myths, lies and deception. One of the biggest myths is that "high" cholesterol is bad for you and that you have to take pharmaceutical drugs in order to lower your cholesterol levels, or you will have a heart attack or some other disastrous health event. The good thing for us common people is that this is nothing but a culture of fear and that this fear can be conquered with knowledge.

To begin, I would like to tell you what the medical studies leave out, rather than what they actually say. Medical studies, which are most often funded by the companies whose drugs they promote, like to focus on one parameter and hide all others. For example, they will come out with a study which says that taking a statin drug lowers your chances of having a heart attack by 50%. This is deceptive in two ways.

First of all, I have been poring through study after study for years now and what I've found is that usually, when they claim a 50% reduction rate, what they really mean is that, if 2 out of 1000 people die of a heart attack when they are not on a statin, and in the group that is taking statins, only 1 dies, you have a 50% lower chance of having a heart attack, relatively speaking and no more. In reality, your chances are only reduced by a fraction of a percentage point!

Secondly, cholesterol study authors always leave out all the parameters that they, or their donors, don't like. When I looked closely at the studies, what I found was that taking cholesterol-lowering drugs actually increases the chances of getting a whole host of diseases, including type II diabetes, irreversible muscle damage, irreversible nerve damage, irreversible damage to the mitochondria, the energy-producing organs in our cells, and plenty of other "diseases," too many to mention, which seem to be uniquely caused by the drugs themselves.

The cholesterol myth continues with the idea that so-called high cholesterol causes heart disease. In reality, cholesterol is one substance and not two separate ones, as the media would like us to believe. LDL is the cholesterol as it goes toward your cells to repair them and HDL is the cholesterol it goes back to the liver for processing. These 2 molecules are actually proteins! In reality, LDL is what actually does the repairs in your blood vessels. Moreover, at least 80% of the LDL in our blood is made by our own liver. Nature made it so because we need cholesterol in order to repair our cells, in order for our brains to function and to make hormones. DHEA, the mother of all hormones, is made from cholesterol! When your cholesterol is too low, your entire endocrine system suffers.

As a matter of fact, when you don't eat enough cholesterol, your liver makes more, causing a vicious circle. The problem is not cholesterol itself, is the ratio between the HDL and the LDL. The only way to properly balance this ratio is by taking concentrated fish oil and special cholesterol-lowering supplements every day, and, of course, to eat a healthy diet free of junk food, keeping in mind that we need to eat food which contains enough cholesterol for our bodies to function properly, and not a completely cholesterol-free diet.

Concentrated fish oil supplements actually increase HDL and decrease LDL, at the same time decreasing both triglycerides and homocysteine levels. It has been proven again and again that by taking fish oil supplements that contain synergistic ingredients such as coenzyme Q10 and read yeast rice, you can balance your cholesterol levels naturally and with no side-effects whatsoever.

Make sure you find a brand that provides all of these ingredients at the proper potency and at a high level of purity and that you stick with it and take it every day. I personally recommend a unique brand which has an independent certificate of analysis available to the public, testifying to its quality.

Bonus tip: How is one to choose a fish oil wisely? There is one very unique concentratedfishoil.org concentrated fish oil with a far superior level of DHA.
