A Cholesterol And Triglyceride Lowering Diet Will Improve Your Cholesterol Levels Significantly

Eliminating or limiting as much alcohol as possible, such as beer, wine, liqueurs
Eliminating or limiting sweetened cereals, flavoured yogurt, and energy or sports bars
Eliminating or limiting fried foods, junk foods, and processed foods

The above all affect your triglyceride and cholesterol levels, and avoiding them or reducing them will produce good results.

Try to eat more fish, as it is rich in Omega 3 fatty acids and will do wonders for your HDL cholesterol levels, which you need to get as high as possible. If you really don't like fish, then do consider taking a fish oil supplement.

Make sure you have plenty of soluble fiber on your cholesterol and triglyceride lowering diet, such as nuts, seeds, whole grains and whole meal, as this will lower LDL levels.
