Foods Lowering Cholesterol

How does diet, exercise, weight loss, medication can affect lowering your cholesterol and high blood pressure, if it is really helpful?

Most of the fats that we get are from the food we eat. Diet is one of the solutions, if we limit ourselves to what we eat like meat, margarine, butter, fish and milk it can cause good condition in our body because it brings lowering our cholesterol.

I found out that medication can raise your cholesterol and we all know that healthcare provider wants to improve our good health but there are some drugs that cause undesirable side effects.

Here are some drugs that they use that can cause heart disease or prolonged active heart disease, high blood, high cholesterol, raising LDL ( Bad cholesterol) HDL ( Good cholesterol).

1. Prednisone- Used to reduce swelling, warmth, and tenderness associated with many inflammatory condition

Effects- Raise triglycerides levels, LDL cholesterol levels and HDL cholesterol levels.

4. Estrogen- Consider as cardio protective that promote healthy heart.

Causes- Heart attacks. Increase triglyceride.

5. Progestin- Form of progesterone used in oral contraceptives and hormone replacement therapy alone or combination of estrogen.

Cause- unhealthy effect raises HDL levels.

6. Anabolic Steroid- Used to treat delayed puberty in boys and some forms of Impotence. And it also used to build muscle mass.

Cause- Raise LDL levels and lower HDL levels

7. Cyclosporine- Used to suppress the immune system and it's commonly used after an organ transplant to prevent rejection, also it is used to treat psoriasis and rheumatoid.

Cause- Raise LDL cholesterol

8. Protease Inhibitors- Used for treatment of human immunodeficiency virus (HIV)

Causes- Especial raise of triglyceride levels and lowering HDL levels

9. Diuretics- Treatment of high blood pressure and water retention.

Exercise helps you losing your weight and aside from that it will lower your cholesterol especially LDL the bad cholesterol.

Example of exercise such as running, jogging, cycling and swimming can have 5% to 10% lowering of bad cholesterol

Walking, yoga and weight-bearing can help to decrease the LDL levels. And it will make your body beautiful and attractive; also you can avoid any illnesses because of your good body condition.
