For quite some time now I have been contemplating writing an article on a diet of healthy foods, but I have not felt motivated to do it. Then one of my readers wrote me an email and asked how she could load up on some good health. That got my attention and now I am motivated to do it.
Guys how does a hot steaming bowl of cholesterol reducing oatmeal sound to you? Or how about a nice snack such as some crunchy almond (great source of vitamin E), were they not delicious? Have you tried soy milk or edamame, how about young green soybeans which are great in your soups? When you ate your salads did you eat the soybeans right out of their pods, wow, were those not also great?
The aforementioned three foods actually make up a cholesterol reducing regimen that is known as the Portfolio Eating Plan, which was developed in Toronto by some researchers. When you eat them as part of your new total diet that is low in saturated fat, it appears that this combination of your food will lower your LDL (your bad cholesterol) levels by twenty eight per cent. Guys do you realize that is almost as much as a statin drug will do for you.
So my diet of good health consists of three items surrounded buy a healthy diet. Now it does not seem to be clear why this group does what it does but we you should be thankful for the information. And it is not really clear whether your high cholesterol levels actually contribute as much to strokes as they do to heart attacks but there are some good reasons to think they may.
So put your items such as I have mentioned here in a bowl (just a term I use). But do look up the Portfolio Rating Plan and get your new diet for good health. And as always you must eat well to be well.
I think. I read. I care. I inform. I coach.
Great information here.
Get back to me.
