Digging Out the Myths About Your Diet Solution

Have you ever been told that eating food late at night is more fattening than at other times of the day? Nope! That is a bunch of not-true bunk! Other very common and often believed myths include: thinking that fasting or crash-dieting will help you lose weight, or thinking that eating low-calorie foods will translate into weight loss. There may be some truth to these "methods" of weight loss, but generally, we need to stay far away from these concepts of dieting. Our diet solution is going to come from a revolution of new thinking about foods. It is a change in lifestyle!

-Fish contain lots of fat, but it's healthy Omega-3 fat acids. Therefore, get more fish in your diet, and get more Omega-3 fats in your diet!

-Learn to love the berries! If you are not already a fan of the berries, I suggest you try to train yourself to eat them. They are delicious, contain many antioxidants and are also high in fiber.

Here's another myth: Cholesterol is bad. Not all cholesterol is bad! If you want a healthy diet solution, you will need to eat cholesterol, but like with fat there are good and bad types of cholesterol that you need to learn about. Fish, dark greens, walnuts and garlic are some foods that will promote healthy cholesterol levels whereas eggs, cheese and steak contain types of cholesterol that are not less desirable.

Really this is all about reconditioning yourself from things that you've heard in the mainstream media to the truth about nutrition and weight loss. Learning to do your own research will help you find a solution that is right for your body.

I hope you will join me in this process of revolutionizing our "diet" thinking. Life is so much simpler and fun when you have a vibrantly healthy body!
